  Deposition of the Gunasinghe Statue. Ms. Jayarathna the Principal, Old girl's association Subhodini Jayasooriya Prominent group, Mrs. Munasinghe of school development society and parental group.

  Aesthetic unit needed for the school, Request of Ms. Subhodini Jayasooriya of old girl's association and guidance of Ms. Malani Ranasinghe the Principal, according to the instructions of Deputy Principal Mr. Rangith Malalagoda, Donation of Wealth by international gem trader Mr. Vinil, By the hand of his beloved wife Ms. Champa Valgampala, by Mr. Dilan Chathuranga the memorial building was handed over to the students.

  With the guidance of Principal Ms. Malani Ranasinghe and instructions of Deputy Principal Mr. Ranjith Malalagoda determination of Mrs Subhodini Jayasooriya Joint Secretary of Old girl's association and Secretary Ms. Chamila Ranasinghe, old girl's association and Interface of all the Community of Sumana Balika Vidyalaya, arrangments were made to get a Van for the school. Here, International gem trader Mr. Tissa Jayawardhana has given the initial capital endowment of 5 Lakhs
  
  The basic sum is about 22 Lakhs as there is insufficient money to get the van, Even though we tried to get the government's support. The reason why it was not received was 2017 Sumana Balika Vidyalaya's Hara Sara Concert held with interference of Ms. Jayantha Chandrani to find the remaining amount and in 2018 school van was handed over to the students
